Delete your Sentlet account

In the app

1. Open Sentlet and go to Settings.
2. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Sentlet leaves your groups, our servers delete your account, and the app erases your chats from the phone.

Without the app

If you no longer have Sentlet, email privacy@sentlet.com with your username (it looks like maya.17). Sentlet accounts have no email or phone number, so we'll check with you that the account is yours before deleting it. We'll tell you when it's done, usually within a few days.

What gets deleted

Everything our servers keep about your account: your username, your keys, your encrypted display name and photo, the messages and attachments still waiting for you, and your place in groups. See the privacy policy for the full list.

What stays

• Messages you already sent stay on the phones of the people who received them.
• Our server backups keep a copy until they're replaced, for up to 6 weeks.
